Brush the top of your braces at a 45-degree angle, then do the same for the bottom of your braces.
Thread the floss between your brackets to floss between your teeth.
Tools for caring for your braces include a toothbrush, floss threaders, floss, a proxy brush and orthodontic wax. We also offer some tips for dealing to dental discomfort or broken brackets.
Eating hard, crunchy or sticky foods can cause your brackets to fall off or bend the wires of your braces.
Use your toothbrush to thoroughly remove plaque surrounding your braces.
Use a proxy brush to brush between your brackets.
Use orthodontic wax to deal with pokey wires until you are able to visit our office.
Remember to brush your retainer and keep it in a safe container when you are not using it.
